°hf throw bag ropes as working and replacement ropes
Safety equipment should be checked regularly and replaced if necessary at regular time intervals. Therefore we also supply the ropes from our throw bags separately.
When replacing the rope it is recommended to fix the new rope to the bag with an overhand knot (same as the original). After pulling tight the loose end of the knot should be at least 7cm long.
In professional rescue teams such as fire brigades, water rescue, DLRG, THW etc., these ropes are used as working ropes in water rescue. The common lengths are 60, 100 and 200m, the most used version is the core mantle 10mm rope.
For transporting the 60-meter length rope, a °hf dry pack of 20 liters in red (#077204) is suitable, for the 100-meter length the °hf Master Pack Trekking 60l has proven itself well. For storage, dry out the rope and leave the dry pack closure open.
The ropes are supllied loose in PE bags (not on bobbins).
